Cookie Policy
One sign-in cookie, a few preferences, and no advertising trackers — the complete list.
Last updated 19 October 2026
What this policy covers
Loopwise uses a very small amount of browser storage: one sign-in cookie and a few preferences. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers on the public pages.
Strictly necessary
- Sign-in session — a cookie set by the platform the app runs on. It keeps you logged in while you use a workspace and expires when the session ends or you sign out. Without it, a workspace cannot be used at all.
- Security and load balancing — short-lived values needed to serve the app safely.
Preferences in your browser (local storage)
- Your colour theme (light, dark or follow the system).
- The last workspace you had open, so the app reopens in the right place.
- Whether you have already seen the welcome guide and hidden the getting-started list.
- None of these are tracking. They stay in your browser and are not used to build a profile or to follow you to other sites.
What is deliberately not used
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking pixels on the public site.
- No selling or sharing of browsing behaviour with data brokers.
Managing and clearing cookies
Every browser lets you see and delete cookies and site storage. Clearing the sign-in cookie signs you out; clearing the preferences simply resets your theme and workspace choice, which the app will set again on next use.
Changes
If the storage used by Loopwise changes, this policy changes with it and the "last updated" date above is revised.
